What Folvuno processes

Folvuno helps merchants create product catalogs and wholesale line sheets. It reads the product variants you select, including titles, SKU, retail reference prices, images and publication status. We store your shop identifier, currency, installation session, App plan status, catalogs, merchant-entered trade prices and terms, brand contact details, saved versions and export job records.

The app requests only Shopify’s read_products permission. It does not request customer, order, inventory-management, theme or checkout access, and does not change Shopify product or retail-price data.

Why this information is used

Selected product data is used to prepare your documents, check source changes and maintain consistent saved versions. Installation credentials authenticate requests; plan records enforce the published App limits. Operational records support task recovery, prevent duplicate usage and process uninstall and privacy requests.

Service providers and sharing

Shopify provides installation, product data and App billing. Hosted Folvuno services and database storage use DigitalOcean. Product images are retrieved from Shopify’s CDN. Folvuno does not sell merchant data or send catalogs to an external AI, email, design or PDF-generation service. Merchants decide whom to share their downloaded documents with.

Retention, access and deletion

Generated PDF downloads expire after seven days. Catalogs, trade fields and saved versions remain available while the app is installed, subject to the displayed plan history limits and your deletion actions. Cancelling an App plan stops paid creation features but preserves access to existing structured exports and unexpired PDF files.

Uninstalling stops background work and removes stored installation tokens. Shopify’s authenticated shop/redact request triggers deletion of the shop’s stored catalog data and PDF files. Minimal deletion and event receipts are retained to prevent duplicate or delayed events from recreating deleted data. No customer data is collected through customer or order API permissions.

You can export your workspace as JSON or CSV and delete catalogs in the app. Downloaded files and copies you share remain under their recipients’ control and cannot be recalled by Folvuno.

Security

Hosted requests use HTTPS. Installation tokens are encrypted in storage. Access checks, per-store job controls and authenticated Shopify webhooks separate store data and verify instructions before processing them.
